Queen Mathilde handed out the "Queen Mathilde Award" at the royal palace in Brussels to care farm De Kruiskenshoeve from Sint-Laureins. Theme was: "a positive outlook on the future".

Before the award ceremony, the Queen met with the various organizations who were selected and with the teenage jury who have elected the winner.
